There were also shipping delays with the flooring Anita selected. Despite the setbacks and multiple visits, we stayed committed and completed every detail we promised. Lastly, our install tech had a baby in the middle of the job resulting in delays. We couldn’t help that last one.
The completed shower features a mid-threshold Onyx Collection base in Platinum with two matching sidewalls and a Pepper cultured-stone accent wall. We also installed custom Onyx trim to finish the enclosure cleanly. For added storage, we incorporated a Liberty Tall recessed caddy, which provides ample space for daily shower products, and a custom shaving foot cubby for comfort and accessibility. The garden tub was replaced with a deep-soaker alcove tub paired with Platinum Onyx wall panels. All plumbing fixtures are high-end from the American Standard ‘Aspirations’ line.
The new vanity was custom-built to fit the bathroom layout and homeowner needs. It includes a seated makeup area for Anita and an Onyx countertop that matches the shower walls for a cohesive design. The flooring was updated to a modern, waterproof product for improved durability and comfort.
