When Pete and Carrie discovered Syracuse Bath Pros through a Google search, they had an exciting vision for their bath remodel. Their existing bathroom featured a large 6′ garden tub, a corner shower, a toilet, and a vanity — but they wanted a fresh design that functioned better for their needs. Their goals included removing the corner shower entirely, converting the garden tub into a luxurious walk-in shower, relocating the toilet, repairing some chipped drywall, and installing a new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) floor. They also requested the removal of a baseboard heating unit and specified they wanted to avoid any cheap acrylic finishes. After reviewing our competitive estimate — the lowest they received — they decided to move forward with Bath Pros on the spot with a 40% deposit.
This job was booked right before summer (our busiest season) began, and we arrived for install 9 weeks after the contract was signed. The entire project took about a full week (7 days). Our team didn’t run into any major issues, but there was one minor hangup: the homeowner requested a taller toilet. Standard toilet sizes are 15″, “comfort height” is 19″, and there are a few “extra tall” selections at 21″ + lid.
