Molly and Jim had spent weeks scouring the internet, hoping to find a company they could trust to remodel their only bathroom. When Molly finally called us, we ended up talking for nearly half an hour. She had already read most of our write-ups, knew our installers by name, and—assuming we were within her budget—had basically already decided we were the company she wanted to hire. We love homeowners who do their homework, and that’s exactly why we put so much time into documenting our jobs. Anyone with a spare hour can read through our project stories, learn about common remodeling issues, and most importantly, see how we handle hiccups.

A few weeks later, Molly called Tom Wolff directly and let him know he had missed their 11 a.m. appointment—it was already noon. Mortified, he double-checked the calendar and saw what happened: another Molly W. had been scheduled for the following day. What are the odds? He immediately jumped in the car, and they agreed to reschedule for 1:30 p.m. that same afternoon. For the record, we only missed a single appointment during all of 2024—and that one was weather-related, with advance notice. So much for the perfect streak.
Molly and Jim lived on a beautiful property overlooking the water. The house had some dated features but was otherwise very well maintained, and the bathroom was no exception. Having read through many of our past projects, Molly already knew what she wanted: a new shower with a rainshower head and separate wand, new LVT (Luxury Vinyl Plank) flooring, a new toilet, fresh paint, and a vanity she had already picked out. We generally refer to this as a “light bath remodel.”
While something like this would normally stretch a bit past her original budget, Molly preferred our acrylic samples over the more expensive cultured stone, which brought the overall cost back into a comfortable range. Tom collected a 40% deposit on the spot, and we were able to get her on the schedule for about nine weeks out.

The weather cooperated, and aside from some strong winds, Central New York saw some of its warmest temperatures in months. Unfortunately, we did have to push the job back five days after one of the acrylic panels arrived damaged. Molly was incredibly understanding, and we rescheduled for the following Monday. Ricky and Stacey made sure to be in the driveway by 9 a.m. sharp.

This job could not have gone smoother. There were no issues, no surprises—just a clean, efficient install done by two of the best in the business. We would be thrilled if every job went this seamlessly, and we’re genuinely lucky to have such wonderful customers like Molly and Jim.

After the job was completed, Molly left one of the best reviews we’ve ever received:
“If you are lucky enough to have Rick and Stacey do your renovation, you hit the lottery. This husband and wife team do amazing work. They are very conscientious of their work and your home. They will never do anything until they converse with you if they come across a problem. They are very friendly and will explain in full detail if you don’t fully understand something. I feel that I made some new friends. I will recommend Syracuse Bath Pros to everyone looking to do a bathroom makeover. Syracuse Bath Pros are lucky to have this duo on their team.”
She’s absolutely right—we are lucky to have Ricky and Stacey on our team, and we wish Molly and Jim many more happy years as they enjoy retirement. Please don’t hesitate to call us if you ever need anything—we’re always just a phone call away.

And if you’re a homeowner in the Auburn area, or anywhere across Upstate New York, give Syracuse Bath Pros a call at (315) 217-1151. We’re currently booked out over three months, so don’t wait to get on the schedule!
